The concept was you had something called public truths and public lies and private truths. Reagan, one of his things that he did, he's almost like a grandpa Simpson character. He would he would he would do is he would take these Russian jokes. And then he would tell them in American audiences and some that would be broadcast in the Soviet Union. It was a very effective way to subvert their propaganda because it's using humor.
