Consent Is a Consensus, Not a Blank Statement Consent

I think sometimes we get used in the church to about age of accountability versus age, where a child or adult is capable of consent. But it is really important to be on the same page and to be able to talk about it openly. It's not a blanket statement consent. So abuse can happen sexual abuse can happen in marriage as well,. For example, by being married, you're not agreeing to sexual encounter with your spouse. And if someone said yes on Monday, it doesn't mean they said yes for Tuesday Wednesday of Thursday.
