Microsoft Just Lay Off an Embedded Team of AI Ethicsists?

The opportunity to cheat and to trick is much higher. How do you balance that against the good things? I'm really hoping that AI is more subscription based than attention based because I find that attention based models just lead to terrible places. The other thing is I hope that there are regulatory bodies formed that have real teeth and early hit somebody really hard that produces propaganda about mRNA vaccines.
