The Love-Hate Relationship Between Native Americans and the United States
More Native Americans by population serve in the armed forces percentage than any other ethnic group. At every powwow there is an honoring of the flag and the veterans, but it's tied right to the veterans into the service and stuff. Many many Native people are deeply disappointed Carry an undercurrent of anger resentment toward the government. They took the best of our land. They forced us to relocate to unknown lands they imposed their language and governmental structures on us.
