Food writer abner ofegima was born in gana, but moved to canada as a child. After school she would go for burghers and fries with friends before heading home to eat traditional garnean food with her family. Five years ago Abner moved back to west africa to rediscover her country's food culture. Many traditional spices and ingredients were no longer being used.
