How to Approach a Diary Study

I don't know if this is even possible given the product, given the person who knows and then being you being able to ask follow up questions. That's like as close to remote field study that you could probably get, but that does take a lot from your participant. So make sure that you're really understanding what is it that you need to understand about the experience people are having with this product? Like, what are the bare bones in this situation? And then using that coming up with the most simple approach that you can because I'm all for cool approaches. But it's not necessarily the best to do really complex stuff because the data can get really messed up.
