Introduction
The American Negro Academy was founded in 1897 by Alexander Crummell and W.E.B Dubois. The goals of the ANA were ambitious, but it never reached its full membership. It published far less than originally envisioned, putting out only 22 of those occasional papers and notebook series or regular journal. This episode is brought to you by C.K. Jeffers and Peter Adamson with support from Kings College London Philosophy Department and LMU Munich.
