Lockheed Martin's Hypersonic Weapons Program Is Ending

US Air Force has announced plans to end the Lockheed Martin Hypersonic Weapons Program. The March 13 test of the hypersonic weapon by Lockheed was not a success, US Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall said. Russia has already used its hypersonic missiles multiple times during the conflict in Ukraine. But here we are in 2023 and the US is abandoning its plans because Lockheed, which is the leading defense weapon maker in the US, can't come up with ahypersonic weapon.
