I use Rust in some funny ways my day job involves writing a lot of JavaScript and TypeScript so I'm an infrastructure lead for LinkedIn's flagship web application these days. The main thing I use Rust for amusingly enough is data mashing when I need to go do something that involves basically writing a scriptSome people would write bash or Z shell some people would write python but I write Rust because I am more productive with it than any other programming language including TypeScript.Rust is fast and it just works and it gets out of the way... even debug builds are so much faster than dealing with a node startup overhead or python startup overhead"
