The Price of Gas Today Is 450 a Gallon
The price of gas today at 450 a gallon is actually adjusted for inflation and adjusted for mileage that cars get. The highest we've seen historically was in 2008, where adjusted for inflation, it was what today would be 515 a gallon. Part of why we're having such a problem transitioning to renewable energy is because fossil fuels are so incredibly cheap.
