The Legacy of Musharraf on the Judiciary
The death of Nawab Akhpur Bukhli sparked Balochistan insurgency. It gave them reason to rile against the Pakistani state. Musharraf won his personal ego feud in both cases but Pakistan lost. He declared emergency on 3rd November 2007, a move that would be the catalyst for the lawyers movement and see him convicted 12 years later.
