Whether they should like maybe even delay, like, getting really immersed in the material depends on how possible it is for them to see instrumental goals as being valuable. And i think one example im in o throw out here is, like, if you have any interest in programming at all, i t does just seem like getting really, really good at programming is robustly useful.
