Is There a Carbon 12 on Mars?

The carbon bound to minerals on the surface of mars has a high concentration of light isotopes of carbon. Carbon 12 is ancient evidence that life once existed on mars. It could well be that one day we'll discover the carbon 12 came from outer space. Or maybe we'll establish that once upon a time, at least in microbial form, life flourished on Mars.
