The Moon Man Tale and the Fairy Tale
The concept of fairy tale and the folklore along with others were really new to Chinese at the turn of 20th century. The reason it was new was that the concept of genre was totally different in China versus in the West. That when China looking for ways to modernize, you know, into the elites, intellectuals try to find ways tomodernize China.
