The Importance of Liquidity in Fixed Income

Teachers has always had a lot of surplus liquidity. We've been very cautious about how we think about liquidity. When we had the pandemic, we wanted a few plans that really had no issues around liquidity to right-size our portfolio and make sure they were fully covered from an equity perspective. And we're still in a very strong position in terms of Liquidity.
