Are You Retaining Good Teachers?

I know these kids better than anybody else in this building does, because I'm with them day in and day out, all day long. But yet somebody that's never met these kids is telling me what's best for them. And if it's not, I shouldn't have to do that. If that's not, it's going to work with them. Mm. What would you like a principal or a future principal to know about retaining and nurturing good teachers? Well, I think it's important to first of all, just remember what it was like when they were teaching, because I think a lot of the higher ups kind of forget about that.
