The Benefits of UVC Decontamination

The main benefit for us was that we weren't taking those mobile x-ray units into the room, which meant it would have to have a full clean and decon if you bought it back out of the room. We were trying to reduce the amount of time involved because we were doing so many x-chest x-rays. And then because of our physics skills in, I guess everything to do with the electromagnetic spectrum, I got very involved in UVC and in room decontamination.We've got some towers at the Alfred that we were just starting to deploy for in-room decontamination when COVID started. It also reduced all the PPE changes that were happening every time
