Is There a God in the Old Testament?
There's a few corollaries that go along with it. Accepting this view leads you to universalism. It's hard to have any kind of judgment and say that god is non iolent. This is where looking at warfare in th ancient erist is helpful. We tend to read biblical texts at face value, as we take them and it sounds really brutal.
