The Role of the 2A Receptor in Brain Activity
The 2A receptor has a special function, you think, in relation to being human? Yeah. We're not the first to think that. I don't think this recent evidence is evidence for the stone-dape hypothesis. But he wasn't far off is what it's looking like now. It's just he was a bit too psychedelic-centric. And it's more kind of simpler and more plausible to think it was serotonin that did it through its 2A receptor. Then we went on to make sure it wasn't just some peculiarity of the magic mushroom becauseyou then studied LSD and DMT as well.
