I am struggling to think of a large slice of voters who are just motorists above everything else. It feels like they're kind of trying to take on almost like an identity politics strategy with this, of like making motorists like a new identity that can become victims. And you're right, no one's just a motorist. We're all motorists and also pedestrians and also use other forms of public transport and also like to breathe occasionally and things like that. So it does seem to me that basically the Tories have sort of been driven a little bit mad by that Ulez campaign that they just managed to squeak home with the win.
