Luther says if the devil's not attacking you, it's because he doesn't see you as a threat. The spiritual warfare of the church is simply feeding into the physical question of whether or not the gospel is being preached. I was listening to a conversation about childlessness amongst women and how it's actually less challenging to get an advanced degree and go work than it is to bear children. To be a mother and bear children is more challenging because it's a 20 year at least project,. Whereas going into the workplace, you have all these milestones that you can meet relatively quickly.
