The Banking Crisis and Failures of a Signature Bank

Debt crisis has been a wake-up call to consumers that maybe haven't looked at their deposits in a while. Part of it is that sort of accelerating that shift into higher yielding deposits, but not as good for the banks that have to pay those rates. The second part of that is bank investment portfolios. This was another issue that led to some of the problems at the banks during the pandemic and so we'll continue to see some pressure on those portfolios.
