Social media apps such as TikTok and Facebook have been long scrutinized for aggressive data sharing practices. Julia Ravi spoke to Jessica Fry from the University of Florida about what might be responsible. There's no doubt that these videos are raising awareness of what it is like to live with tick-like behaviours. But are they having an impact beyond that? The answer may bend our understanding of atoms, space and time itself.
