The Impartiality of Human Psychology
There's simply in our moral decisions some inescapable partiality. This is a way in which I think David Hume for instance was by no means a pure utilitarian. It turns out that this view of impartiality that you can't be fully impartial, it's going to matter for a number of our real world decisions. And let me turn to an example of where I think we cannot help but be partial.
