So we're willing to bet you've got some big goals in mind for the next few months, or even the year. And those goals likely involve making more money, which means you're going to meet clients. So to day, we're talking about some proactive ways to get more clients in the door. Welcome to the small business bos podcast. Buckle up and get ready to go behind the scenes at running a service business. We dive into real numbers, real talk and the real truth about everything from finding clients, making more money and even what we're doing in our own business. Eu, an the others ot, so before we get into how to poactivly get mor clints, we have shot it back and pass up a little bit. And sure why we're talking about thusand i'm really excited that we're going there, because i think this is a hard truth that i wish i had heard quite some time ago. Weiis a hardtru that, frankly, you need to get gold into your head on a regular basis, because it's really easy to get complacent with, you know, things as the monetums are still ye. And i think, here's the thing i really want to talk about, why we got so passive, even though we're total go getters, because, oh, the internet. We get really lulled into this feeling we're doing things. The internet creates a lot of busy work, and it's not good. It's just not good. Ya, and are other people. You know, what happens is we essentially wait for referls to people and clients, and not just rand of peoplepeople we talk to, they say that referls are the neverland source of new regeneration. And, you know, that's true for us too, or at least used to be true, for sure. And so the thing about referls is, you're waiting. If we can't be reliant on people to send you money, itie sitting rond waiting, i not having a job sitting on and waiting for somebody to give you money, yas if only the world worked that way. And allredily. You know, the reason we really want to talk about this is we know that so many of you the listeners want to grow. And if you want to grow, you can't be pastid. So if you've been a bit flat lined, or you just haven't been bringing in the clients, you want to the news flashed, you are going to have to switch jects, even if this is going to make you uncomfortable. And we are going to talk about what you should be doing. But ultimately, getting clients in the door is a numbers game, so a few things here and there may not cut it, depending on your goals. And just one little note here, yet, we know that thereis a bit of magic, there absolutely is. But you can't rely on magic in your business. So we are here to tell you that it's time to take things back and put them into your controll, to talk about how you can find clients in a paractid way, where you're putting things back into your control, and you're not just sitting around yore, waiting for the pevebial thuntering. Well, i mean, i do want a line bi catch any bombons? Ha, ha, right. That's not really how the clients are going to show up. So, and you know, what i do want to really say, before we dive into these kind of specific ways to get more clients proactively, is that there's not a single thing here that we are talking of that we are not actively doing ourselves right now, 100 %. And tis is something just a little, you know, behind the scenes.
