The Discourse on College Campuses
The more you appeal the way the veneer on some of the incidents that have occurred in the past few months, the more you realize that faculty are involved in a rather hip, deep fashion. This debate on college campuses largely now has ceased to be mutual error correction. It's become a contest in which they're winners and losers. The college campus should not be intellectually safe. That's exactly where you're supposed to grapple with ideas.
