China's Zero-Covid Approach Isn't the Only Factor in the Rise in COVID Cases in China
On October 29, exactly one week before the congressional hearing closed, China was reporting a total of just under 1,500 local cases. Fast forward to now, exactly one month later, and they're reporting more than 38,400 cases a day. In Beijing, the country's capital city cases one month ago stood at 22. At the time of our last episode, two weeks ago, cases reached 462. Now they're at 4,400.
