The franciscan theological school is a strong part of the western roman tradition, but it's certainly fallen away in recent years. I think leo the thirteenth was a third order franciscan too, so he really loves the fait te same tradition. He doesn't just recommend a saint thomas, where he recommends saint bonavent just, all right. But saint thomas has a privat place, obvisly. And he deserves that in a certain way.
