Angela Davis: Children are, I think, inherently selfish. But they also have altruistic benevolent impulses quite early on. She says Bill Gates has turned around his reputation by deciding to give away the most of his money and getting everybody else to do it for him. "The thing about selfishness is that I can't divorce it from the mission," she says.
