To have a whiff of something is like to have a smell of something. Craig said that when he was a kid, he used to collect petrol caps. He kept them all in a plastic bag and every now and then he'd open the plastic bag and have a whiff - it smelled of petrol. So then we started talking about cats and dogs, of course. And Craig said that he thought he thought the cats are a bit arrogant because they tend to look down their nose at you. You know, like cats have got a slightly arrogant attitude. They might go: 'Why don't you get me some food? Either get me someFood or just go away'
