The Useful Concept of a Stall Point
Eric Schmidt: I've learned that just like a company stole so do people's attention spans Eric and I'm very wary that some people won't stay with us for the whole show. We had to actually define if you're talking about stall points what is a stall point, he says. So we did 10 year rolling average growth rates prior to each year in the sample of 600 firms across 100 years as part of HP's initiative. The study identified 1979 as the year in which the delta between the 10 prior years and the 10 succeeding years is greatest at kind of 9%.
