The Census Question Is a Deliberate Attempt to Disfranchise Communities With Lots of Immigrants
The census question is obviously totally keeping with what we've been talking about here, because adding the citizenship question is a deliberate effort to disfranchise and disempower communities with lots of immigrants. So fear and anxiety in immigrant communities, whether or not they'd o have documentation, there would be huge under count in immigrant communities. If you can engineer the census questionair in such a way that those people are discouraged from filling it out, then you are deliberately redistributing economic and political power to a wider states and wider districts. It's like 900 million dollars in federal resources every year are distributed on the basis of census numbers.
