Is There a Better Way to Do It Than 50 State IDs?
In the Netherlands, we have a sort of more limited version of it called DigiD. It is pretty much limited to serving as your credential for any government related services. The best bet right now for those kinds of decentralized credentials are a big financial institution verifies someone's identity. They issue a credential and then that credential can be used for trust and safety use cases. So I am actually a huge proponent of decentralized identity. But unfortunately, for the time being, it is too pure of a vision of identity for the messy and complex real world systems today.
