The Importance of Handwork in Art and Design
I was raised in the 70s, we did have the tally. We were making as girls, we were knitting an embroidery and a macrame. So there was a lot of time to be together and make things by hand. I think my mother was also coming from the, so she was a pattern maker. And my father was a farmer, so in a way he also worked with his hands and was very connected to the earth. That's my background.
