The Seven Miracles of Mindfulness
Being present with things as they are without projection, agitation or desire is naturally going to lead us to caring for and understanding others. So most of the chapter is his exposition of the mindfulness sutra. In each one of the four sections, it uses this kind of strange language. We are practising being completely engaged in our experience rather than somehow abstracting ourselves from our experiences so that we can analyze them. This is not exactly a practice of analysis... It's only actually increase our natural restlessness.
