The Pros and Cons of Tracking Kids
LZ: There's something futuristic and not in a good way about the idea that from such a young age now, we're all being tracked. LZ: Did you talk to experts about the pros and cons of that? LZ: One expert I spoke to was actually worried that all of the surveillance of children of constantly filling their time and tracking them is going to have a damaging effect on their mental health. And for some parents who are also trying to raise kids in this weirdly helicopter parenting society, maybe calling Child Protective Services if they see a kid walking around alone shouldn't be allowed to do that.
