In 1997, there's kind of an ongoing thing where people are concerned about mercury and fish. So in 1999, Neil Halsey sees the reports that kids are getting 187 micrograms of ethyl mercury. And he starts to get concerned. He was one of the people who wanted to expand the vaccine schedule for kids. The next chapter of the story is extremely bizarre.
