"I was out like a light," John says. "It's not like passing out where you get tunnel vision." The idea that what general and aesthetic does is paralyzes you and then erases your memory when it's just thinking exactly that, he adds. It doesn't make sense based on everything we know about medical technology and human beings. But if you think about it and freak themselves out, the idea isn't true.
