Why Are We Biologically Carnivore?
Paleo anthropological point of view is that our ancestors split off from other primates about 8 million years ago because they started eating meat. And then when the ice ages hit sort of 2.5 million years ago or so, you know, this obviously wiped out a lot of plant life and a lot of the animals that were supported by that plant life. Our ancestors were part of those who survived because they were already adapted to eating meat. We had to figure out ways of getting this sort of animal source nutrition in sneaky sort of ways because we didn't have claws and teeth like a big cat or a wolf. That's why we developed intelligence and that'swhy we developed tools.
