The Independence of Random Events
If I've had five heads in a row, we all think back to Tom Stoppard at this moment. But what is the reasonable expectation? No it's not. What's happening here is a concept called independence of different random events. This was first invented not so long after the Pascal letters sort of end of the 17th century by a guy called Demove. So erasing into mathematics through gambling, over running doogle, this coin's still being flipped.
