I Was a Friend of My Grandma and My Uncle

When she was six, her father separated from his wife and moved in with a family. She says he tried to beat the personality out of her because he didn't like it. But eventually settled on living with her mother after being criticised by her grandmother and uncle for spending too much time at school.
