Clytemnestra opened the door to a man dressed as a traveller. He said he was passing through on his way from delphi, but had news of arrest s. The queen demanded to know about orestes, the son of the late king. Telemacus picked his way over the sleeping suitors and slipped out the door. It was time their father, agamemnon, would be avenged. No one would be coming for Mycene now.
