Most modern people delay having children until much later in life. Do you think we're delaying an important maturation process that normally would happen much earlier in someone's life cycle? That is a deep question. The first thing that comes to mind is more is an extension to what you said, so I don't know if you knew this, but New York City has the highest rate of C-sections. It's because C-sections are very efficient. If you've got a schedule, you need to keep, they're good for the parents.
