English humanism was sparked by visits from and to Italy. There were also further utopian writings in England, facilitated by the English publication of Moore's work in 1551. About 30 years later, two dialogues modeled on Moore's appeared. But they're more straightforwardly moralistic rather than focused on how society really ought to be.
