General Relativity: Einstein's Strangest Prediction

In 1905, Einstein taught us in 1905 that moving clocks run slow. Because these things are moving so fast, they're not keeping the proper time. When the atoms are going slowly, you've got a much longer time to measure them. And because they're moving slowly, this relativistic time dilation that Einstein taught us about has gone to practically nothing. That makes these atoms almost ideal as timekeepers.
