Genetic Risk Factors for Parkinson's Disease

There are a plethora of genes that increase the risk in big populations of Parkinson's disease. The two big ones are LARC2, LRRK2, and GBA. First degree relatives of patients with Parkinson's do have a slightly higher risk above the regular population. But most of the time Parkinson's does not follow Mendelian genetics of autosomal dominant or autosomal recessive or X-linked.
