The introduction of soft food can really mess breastfeeding up. We're giving children food that's so soft, they don't need to swallow. And we're doing it at such a young pit point that they're probably not ready to do a proper swallow. So we train them to make a modified suckle. About 85% of the population is doing a modified sucksle instead of a swallow.
