What Is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention on purpose in the present moment and non judgmentally. So a lot of different mindfulness based practices involve basically bringing your attention to the present moment very intentionally, like mindful eating or body scan meditation. When you are able to achieve some sense of mindfulness it can bring a sense of calmness and clarity and stability to one's mind.
