Syrian Refugee Crisis in the UK

There has just been way more media attention on these refugees than there has been on other types of refugees. The Home for Ukrainian scheme is a great scheme that we did not have as Syrians when I first arrived. When you fly into any UK airport, you see signs of full command and telling you that you don't have to pay for to go to the city center. But Syrians don't arrive in planes, right? So I think the Home Office is ready to pick us up to whatever detention center they have up in kind or somewhere else.
