The title of your book is, obviously, we're here because you were there. So it would be great if you could talk to us about what immigration to britain has to do with britoin's history of colonizing other countries. How that kind of exists. I think the very notion of immigration and immigrant suggests a group of people that were outside british nationality. And i think the fact that the primary immigration laws of the 19 sixtis the fact that they used the term immigration rather than an act with respect to british citizens or commonwealth citizens, is revealing.
